setting a camp fire
« on: 08 Aug 2003, 06:18:15 »
Hey everyone, i'm new to the editing scene and i've been searching through your archives to find how to set a camp fire but all i have found is something called cl_fire.

I'm guessing that has something to do with it right? Does anyone know how to set a camp fire using the "fire" unit under civilian?

Trying to make a night map with some camp fires in a base but can't get the thing to lite when the map first starts.

Thanks to anyone who replies,

Ragez

It won't work if you use the fire under the Civilian side.    Look under Empty and choose Objects.   Use the fire in there.

If you want to see a working example of a fire (and a whole bunch of other good stuff) download the Tutorial Mission from Getting Started in the Editors Depot.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play
