AI landing C130
« on: 07 Aug 2003, 05:27:31 »
I am working on another SP mission. For the intro I am trying to get a C-130 to land on runway for the past two hours. I tried the command: Plane land "LAND" and on Careless. Also a getout waypoint.

I have the aircraft (C130) flying (Northward) on a straight to the runway. And all the time, the aircraft goes haywire (Banking left, then right, then left)...trying to line up..then goes around and never lands.

The intro is a C-130 lands (Nogova..southwest runway). Then to open ramp, soldiers walk out in line formation. But I am unable to get past to make the C-130 land.

So if I can control the aircraft using triggers: Lower gear, raise flaps, and then at a waypoint "Limited" to slow the plane down, flyinheight...etc..etc. Then maybe I can get the aircraft to land.

Anyone know the codes for lower gear, raise flaps, lower the throttle? Or another way?

This goes for most of the Aircraft in Ofp/Res.

ive had this problem with a certain c130, although it did work with an A-10 i wanted to land by the AI, with normal planes, i.e A-10 set it a distance back, next time i load up the mission which the A-10 lands ill give you a rough grid co-ord on the land trigger how far away to place  for the everon runway

Yup it's the C130 m8. I get the same shit every time. Nowt you can do about it but write to the addon maker and suggest he do something about it.
Try not to use too many expletives tho eh.
