Tactical group movement

Hi, im making a tactical ofp mission where about 200 soldiers from each side batles in one island between bases. And the both sides are fully contrelled by computer.
The AI know how to have and hold frontline, attack enemy frontline or just scout around. basicly it moves all the groups around island to a batle.
player's role would be a linemen. and I was hoping this could be played in multiplayer mode so he or she can respawn.
(not actualy a respawn but unit change you know)


Theres allways a bit lag ofcourse but most of the troops doesn't move and aren't drawed so it works fine.

So what do you think of that, hope this haven't been made yeat?

If it's done properly... it would be greate. I tried for a few times to do such a mission but i was never succesful :-\ This is the thing which can be done only in OFP, beeing just a private in a big war. Unfortunatelly there are only few missions where you can feel that your actions can not change the outcome of the battle. ;D Most of missions are: you are a leader of a squad, lead your men to destroy two companies of infantry, few tanks and APCs and bring back your squad to base without taking any casualieties  :) I'll be looking forward to your mission. he may mean dont show up in the game.....just there for effects

What I ment was that If you look towards soldiers they are drawed, obiviously. But If you look to another direction game runs faster becose they aren't.

I could say that the AI part is finished now, AI knows how to defend frontline and attack enemy bases, and it all works really good too!

But im unsure what kindof respawn system make becose in OFP that's kinda limited.
Player should get new soldier from the army he belongs to. But in fact im stuck whit that becose I dont recall any ways right now...
