use weapon problem & wp question

1. i have a civilian equipped with a binocular that walks to an cliff and should then take and use it. i tried with unit action ["weaponinhand", "binocular"] but doesnt seem right as nothing happens...

how to script that?

2 is it possible to change waypoints of units with a script?

There is a switchMove for that. Don't remember the exact name, but it is something like "FxStandToBinoc" ....

2.
Check out the DoMove, Move and CommandMove commands.

2.  Also the command setWPPos.    And if you're not familiar with switch triggers, learn about them.   Tute in the Ed Depot, lots of posts on the forum.

If that doesn't help, tell us more about the problem.    What do you want to happen?   What have you tried?   What went wrong?
