Well we could allways stop making addons, then you guys would have nothing to complain about/ask questions about... that way you wont get any "S**t" in return...

As I said, several of the team members have REAL LIFE[/u] experience with the H-47, in one of its many guises, and we feel that the sound level it is set at atm is the most realistic...

And for that reason, we will not be changing it...

@Jahallo: this was one of the first issues that came to light, and has been solved.. so hold on for the next version, and you will get more than you asked for

I never said that I was unhappy with the addon. I was just asking if anyone else thought it was abit too loud. Also I've found out the range from where I could still hear it, 14.5KM! Ask your mates who've had real life experiance with the heli of how far it was a MH47 goes before you can't hear it.

Your the one that started this, your the one that was saying that I was completely wrong. Okay you try it then, go into OFP right now and have a chinnok hovering at one end of Nogova and you at the opposite end, and tell me if you can hear it!

Ask your mates who've had real life experiance with the heli of how far it was a MH47 goes before you can't hear it.

I'm one of them... I have flown in RAF Chinook HC. Mk. 3 Helicopters, which are basically the MH-47E fitted with the British (and European) versions of all the sensors and electronics.

And trust me, they are seriously LOUD! 99% of the time you will hear these things coming before you see them, and, with the right wind conditions you can hear them from many many Km's away...

Okay your right. Eviscerator said that you could hear these things from 3KM away, that's why I said I could hear it from 14KM away. But since you said that they can be heard even further then that, then you've made your point and I'm happy.
I love the look of the new cargo look on the MH6s, great work.

well, thats from personal experience, i watched one fly by a while ago, but shut the window, i wasnt gonna watch it fly for another 10 or so KM

Maybe it's time to release some news about your upcomming projects. After that create a topic on this site that's about BAS-birds only. That way we can post all the shit about your birds there. I know you the forums on flashpoint1985 are allready used to post just about anything about all bas project, but I don't vistit that site very often. And you'd please Skaven ;D.

We think its not time to release news on the upcoming project, if we do we got much more pressure on us and thats not something we want

Sorry i'm of topic, but just a small attempt to clear up the chopper noise thing. I work offshore on an oilrig and fly there on choppers every 2 weeks, take my word for it you can hear them coming from a LONG way off, and they are Tigers, so i guess Chinooks would be VERY loud too, also i live in a flightpath for choppers and you can hear them long before you see them with the right conditions as was mentioned....

Oh and i can't wait to see the addons... ;D
