Thanks viper172,
these pics look great. Have you noticed the delta aiming his rifle from the mh60. Also one guy with a mk23. Are these guy's just sitting in the chopper like you could walk inside the mh46?? Or are they "in cargo" and still able to fire. What I mean; will these guy's fall out when the bird starts to fly or not???

to bas:
(I'm sorry I do this in this topic), but do you have any idea if a script works to have a bird with 2 door gunners (one weapon in cargo, or someting like that) I noticed a patrolboat using this, and other people also claim to have used this on the TOW FAV, with succes. However, I've also heard that using a script to do this would limit the vehicles speed to 15m/h (the FAV). Is there any way you can make it work????(please)

The gents aiming their weapons from inside the helicopter are simply different cargo positions... the CAN NOT fire their weapons, and WILL NOT be able too...

So they will not fall out, and equally they can not fire their weapons... it is simply a game engine limit...

Again with the 2 gunners... it is possible, but only if you run a 900 GHz[/u] mega supa-dupa powerful mainframe sized beast... simply because the script would take sooo much power, the game would simply stop working on a normal computer...

So I am afraid the answer is still NO[/u]...

This has been asked several times, I know, but since then there have been new animation-editing tools released...

Do you see BAS making new animations for cargo and pilot positions for the choppers in the near future?

The soldiers sitting on the seating planks of the Littlebirds as well as the soldiers sitting on the edge of the Blackhawk (whenever it is released) could use an animation with their rifles held differently and their feet dangling more freely.  The gunner in the Littlebird with MP5 could also use a different one.

Although I also understand that animation editing is not all too simple, and you have loads of other stuff to do, just asking.

Good work with the Deltas and Rangers, by the way.  These will certainly be one of the "standard" addons almost every player has.  ;D

I think you have confused Cpt. Frostbite with me, I was the one that asked a similar question the other day on the irc channel. :)

Could we get you to change the weapon carrying position while in transport to barrel down?  Barrel up is technically incorrect. :)

Since the early screens of BAS Rangers i've been wondering what happened to M16 rifles. I was just about to ask about it when i saw M4A1 Basis of Issue Plan at the fas site.

Here's the extract:
Quote
C.  EMPLOYMENT:  THE M4A1 WILL BE USED BY THE SPECIAL FORCES
GROUPS, RANGERS AND SOF AVIATION UNITS.

   D.  BASIS OF ISSUE:  A.  THE M4A1 WILL REPLACE THE M4 CARBINE AND

M16A2 RIFLES IN THE RANGER REGIMENT AND SPECIAL FORCES GROUPS.

So i guess there are no plans to release modern M16 vesions?
Fortunately top quality ones are coming along soon elsewhere ;)

So are we going to be getting the entire "Black Hawk Down Mission makers kit" at once then?   ::)

i.e.

MH-60's
A/MH-6's (next version)
Delta
Rangers
