Actually, you would need to customize each "weapon" seperately (as they are independent in targeting and rate of fire), The fire.sqs is only considered a "Core Script" since it determines the group array and globalizes the variables for the other firing points . An "easy" way to adjust intensity would be to change the max threshold of rounds fired between target selection, and changing the wait times between bursts. Obviously, adding/deleting certain "weapons" will also change the intensity.
Just use you imagination, and experiment untill I finish a proper readme
