Sorry to disappoint you but the pro tec helmets are being replaced by the CGF Gallet TC - 2000 Combat Helmet.
There are newer versions of that helmet out. And it is not the ONLY helmet being used by SF-types.

I've seen the movie.

No. 1 the sound of the M4 is wrong as said before

No. 2 sound from the M4 is also delayed, you see the flash but there's a delay in sound, there shouldn't be in that close a distance.

No. 3 the M24 cocking is too quick, if you did it that quick the empty round would'nt be ejected properly before the new round is loaded. (I'm not sure on whether or not this may happen but the cocking is too fast)

But the video is very good, other then those probs' very nice models, also like the camlebak.

The Edge, I've bothered to post up some info on that helmet
maybe you could do the same  for these "newer types".

Yes I think that registered_fugitiv awnsered your question.
Regarding the sounds, I've already talked about it in my previews thread, however if anyone as better sounds please adress them to me, they will be used if they are better  ;)
Let me just mention also, that we have guys like Damocles and ofpEditor (which I can never thank enough) that are in the army now, some of them being highly ranked, some of them being in the SF, they don't let anything slip, if it's bad or unreal they will mention it alright, trust me it's their job at BAS and they do it incredably well, for example Damocles until he as the Acog sight like he wants he already wrote 4 times in our forum what must be changed  ;D
You guys won't believe the amount of times we've redone things to meet their instructions, from sounds, to sights, to texture details... you name it.
Also the Delta from the movie are not the last Delta, we've already made two updates to them, like adding shadows to the weapons, something that was missing, like making improoved sights, improoved textures...
I think you guys will like them so much as we do, also I have to thank SelectThis which with his vast experienced is taking them beyond what we think was possible (you'll see what I mean),he's doing that "thing" only he knows how to do  ;) Wetwork is a Factory not a modeler, he makes things unbeliavably fast and precise,Frandsen is always ready to help, the base was made from him and all updates have his hand too.
My main preocupation now is, what more can I do between my knowledge to make them better  ???
Am I too bad for them, or are they already too good for me  ;D
That's why STT is working on them now, they already go away beyond my knowledge and expectations  ;D
and Tigershark... well a good team needs great leader, well that's him  ;D I think I mentioned everyone this time  ???

Als olove the detail to the M4 and the ACOG.
You've also put the screws on the top of the reciever, something which alot of M4 makers miss,
the carrying handle on the M4 is detachable to fit scopes.

Why not use the game m16 sound on the m4?? it really isnt that far away from the real thing. M16/M4 doesnt make that much noise when being fired. Also it will keep the same kind of weapons with the same sound, instead of having 5 different versions of same weapons line with 5 different sounds (example)

I don't need to, as the newer versions of the TC-2000 are listed right on Lightfighter.

Maybe you oughta email Brad himself to find out what else is being used.

Anyhow, BAS have hinted that they're basing these models on BHD rather than current issue, so arguing about the helmet is a moot point with them. I've already argued about the black nylon to no avail... We all know how effective black gear in a desert environment is. ;)

Understand that as far as gear goes, it honestly doesn't seem like anyone wants to go "authentic". Which is fine, I suppose... it's just not 100% realistic. Artistic license and all.

Fine then go with the sissy skateboarders helmet, just don't blame me for the one shot head kill, guess you can't cause you'll be already dead.

From what I can see from films and pictures of your guns they have a prity high face count, and it would be a pity that down to about 300 faces on the model other see, so the shadow apears. if you havent done it that way plase tell me how you did it cause i have made some very high face count guns and they dosen have shadow because ot that.

what helmet we choose does not matter on hit points every helmet is 1 shot 1 kill because the head hit point is one shape on the soldier model

I do know that, I was reffering to the "real world", not "OFP world", not "the Matrix". You want to make the addon as real to Delta as possible, the real Delta may had ditched protecs and gone for something else with a little more protection.
