Is it possible without a loop?
Something like:

? (group1 in helo) : ......

or with
"_x in helo" count (units group) = 8   (if there are 8 units in the group)

You almost have the syntax correct.  Just combine your two ideas.

? "_x in helo" count (units group) == west countside (units group) : ...

thanks! i used in an condition field of a waypoint :
"_x in helo" count (units group1) == count (units group1)
and it worked  :)

I'd suggest you to use Rangers method, even if the one you wrote in your last reply works for now.

Reason: if the group leader doesn't notice the kill of one
of his members, they will still remain to the group, while
when using countside, only living members are counted.

I completely agree. Also, if a unit gets in a vehicle and is killed while inside the vehicle, the leader will not know about the unit being killed (even if he's sitting next to the corpse) unless he does a "report status" on him, hence the unit wont be removed from the group.

I wish the AI in OFP could recognize people in vehicles, instead of just the vehicles.
