Why isnt there any pickups with machineguns and jeeps with recoilles rifles?
OFP needs them. It cant be that hard for some talented addon maker to make one of these babys.

Yeah! Like, um, Red Dawn, the Cold War American movie where the Soviets, represented by Central American [or was it Cuban, particularly?] invasion troops, attack and occupy parts of the USA. It was corny, but the scenario--Americans in the role of resisting and invader--would make a good OFP campaign.

Listen, man, help me get a tank working in OFP and I will put a gun in a Ford F150's bed next. I always liked the look of the F150; it looks just the right mix of utilitarian and a kinda jeepster style.

First I need to learn the basics of addon tanks. I've seen some notes here about putting weapons on cars. It's doable.

You have to understand, addon makers don't make things that are necessarily needed or new and different, it's just stuff that they like-- kind of like building a model kit and admiring it.  You have to have passion for the subject to put in the hours.

That describes my case perfectly. My passion is for armored and air vehicles, esp. ones that don't exist [yet] or very modern ones that aren't already available as addons. I haven't forgotten about the pickup truck with the m2 in the back, but it's not a priority for me by a long shot. I just figure that, since I will eventually have to learn how to put an M2 [or some kinda MG pintle mount] on vehicles, I will eventually know how to do what you're asking for.

And I like beat-up pickup trucks. I'd love to texture one with rust, mud and dents--I did some of that in a 3D program once, on someone else's 3D model, and my rust and mud experiments came out great.

first of all, I think that most of the technicals were toyotas or other japanese-manufactured vehicles. Ford/Chevy/Dodge etc. probably aren't reliable enough for the duties required of a third-world vehicle. Second, BHD the movie aside, I'm willing to bet that in Mog they would have been using DsHKMs or other commie HMG's. Perhaps something german or french? CHinese?
