Sight sway, hevier breathing help...

Hello AGAIN on the issue of harder aiming and shooting :)

OK this is what i want to do:

I want to increase the sway of the sights for all players. with sway i men the sight jumping around like when you run ALOT and try to aim. I belive some weapons have more sway as it is already, but i want to add this i Â'n a global manner for all players in the game.

Is there a way to increase this "weapon-sway"? And if so please give me some nice guidelines.

I think this could make the aiming to resemble a more real problem with aiming, trying to keep the gun still.

Trying to make another explanation:

When your character is hit his sight starts to sway and that meens that the crosshair start moving around all the time.

I want to add this effect to always be there and increase the amout it sways when hit and when you have ran across a larger distance.

A global script for players if possible or just anyway to customize and edit this value.

You can setdammage the unit to something like -5. I've heard that'll work but haven't tried it myself.

Hmmm ... really you want a dialogue at the start of the mission that detects whether the player has drunk a bottle of vodka, and ends the mission if he hasn't.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

Eh.. no i want to have the weapon sway a bit like in for example hidden and dagerous 2 (one of the few good details in that game).

the setdamage thing makes the player get alot more HP also doesnt it?

So non of you know where to edit this in the game or if there is any script to be made?

No it doesn't give the player, eh, "HP". It's a bug in the game.

Prolly when you can detect the player has been running alot you can use the setdammage -1 and more running -2....

sorry i MEANT health :)

Ill try the -5 setdammage thing.

Still there must be a entry somewhere that controles this "sight sway" as it is in the game.

Sure, but then you prolly have to hack the .exe file or something. I don't know that advanced stuff. It ain't in the config file anyway, AFAIK. Ask Kegetys. ;D

Actually, it is. The amount of "sway" is configured in the animation config. So whenever you are in the "combat" animation, you have one sway, and when you are in the "laying" animation, you have another sway. The only way to change the default animations is to edit the game's config file, however, so you can't do it on a per-mission basis (or even a per-addon basis, really), aside from using the setdammage trick. Basically, you will just be doing this for yourself, not those who play your mission. IM me if you really want to change it, and I'll show you how. It isn't very hard.

One of these days I'm going to publish a config with this changed, along with AI sight/hearing distance increases....
