BIS models in o2
« on: 03 Oct 2003, 01:27:56 »
This has most likely come up before, but I can't open the p3d files that were in the demo. All it said was load error... Is there anyway to load them or another source?

The A10 is not in editable format. It's only the first (0.36) demo that can be edited, and the A10 is not in it.

ItÂ's just a little mindplay but what about those old "Harriers"? Those retexture SU-25? Propably there you can grab some textures?

You'll probably just have to model it ...

you can of course get the textures from OFP at least... ;)

With my skills? Forget it... Has anyone made a plane similar to the A10 or Su25 w/ similar seats or canopys?? Or would anyone want to help me make one? I could do it if I had some blueprints.....

You could ask BAS if they send ya the model; I think they have a tool to convert the BIS format; no idea why they haven't relased it to the public yet

a) because we dont actually have this "wonder tool" we simply have good connections

and b) if we did have it, it would not be ours to give away...

I respect BAS VERY much because of their wonderfull skill and public relations, they are like gods to me...  ::) but if they some how have an editable A10 or Su25, I would do anything just to get a hold of a canopy or seat.... I wish I had good conections  :-[ :-\
