Making the AI accurate for cutscene
« on: 03 Aug 2003, 22:32:28 »
I've had this problem twice so far...I set the AI skill slider all the way to the top, and they still freaking miss their targets...this doesn't look good when you're making a cutscene....anyone know how I can make them hit their targets on the first try?

If you want a particular loon to die at a particular moment then just setdammage 1 and have done with it.

Yeh, I wish I could....but that's too easy.

What I need is an RPG to hit a jeep, and the loon misses more than half the time. Go figure, his skill is ALL the way up, and he can't hit a stationary object from 50 meters away.

Any other ideas?

This wouldn't look very good but you could have a camera shot of the RPG soldier and then CamCreate a heat120 on the jeep, or just besides it so it looks like an RPG hit.

Only problem with that would be that there wouldn't be any "rocket sound"

50meters?  Place him further away...
