lightison command

I am trying to test in a script to see if a light is on but it does not work.

?lightison (object 'streetlight') == "ON"

what is wrong?

the syntax is wrong  

try:


? lightIsOn nearestObject [MyObject, "StreetLamp"] != "OFF"

see the diff  

? lightison (object 'streetlight') == "ON"       <===WRONG!

what goes in the quotes, the object ID of the light?

I am also used to error messages for wrong syntax, but I guess that is another story for strings

I just tested this and it works

Trigger

Condition:   lightIsOn object 159582 == "auto"
On activation:  hint "lighton"

Of course, that doesn't actually tell you if the light is on or off, you'll have to do more work for that.  But at least we have the syntax sorted out.
