Help With Street lights Pleeeeeezzzzz

I need help making them be lite ive used
object 159582 switchlight "on"  and nearestObject [player, "StreetLamp"] switchLight "Off" or on etc   these dont seem to work i am using resistance 1.91 , or i need a mission where i can merge a light that works i am trying to light up a base so any help would be great many thx in advance.

Are you talking about a streetlight already on a map or one u have put in??

If you're using a streetlamp you put int, the

this inflame true

should work.  I dont know about the switchlight "on" command.

Are u sure it's dark enough to see the light is on??  Streetlights are not visible during daylight!

It can't be anything else except for a dodgy addon i s'pose! :-\

A streetlight gets to be very sketcky at times.  

Here is what may be your secret...

When you control a streetlight with a player, that light has to be switched on or off when the mission begins, otherwise your setup will not work at all or be very unreliable.  

I myself don't reccomend the streetlight addon.  

 8)And I do think streetlights are fun, you have to play around with them so you can learn how they work.
