Shadow on muzzel flash how can I fix it

How can I fix the shadow from the muzzelflash it is prity anoing that it shows.

One way is to be sure the Muzzle Flash is all of it defined as Zasleh in the last LOD.
If that still doesn't work, than it's easy just erase the Muzzle Flash in the last LOD.
I'm suposing you have made the weapon with a lot more than one LOD besides the Geometry and the Pilot View, am I right  ???

It has as meany Lods as a normal OFP waepon but wouldent that mean that
The lod would be to big in the last LOD

Well, in the last LOD you can't have more than 300 polys (I think I'm not sure by head) but that isn't the problem since you already have a shadow on.
Another possible thing, is the name of the model not defined well in the cpp file, check if in the config models section the name of the .p3d file is exactely the same as you called it in the filed.
One of the 3 options I gave you, must solve the problem.  ;)
1 The Muzzle Flash names as a section called Zasleh in all tle LODS.
2 Erase the Muzzle Flash from the last LOD.
3 The name of the model in the cpp file

Don't forget to go into the face properties for the muzzle flash and unselect the "enable shadow" box.
