hi i did a search on this but didnt find any..
in my mission i have the east attacking a town with civilians in it but i don tknow how to set the civilians as the easts enemy so they will shoot civilians at sight..
appriciate any help

There are 2 ways(actually, there are more I think, but these are the easiest) of doing this.
1. Hack the SQM
2. Group the civvies with a higher ranking west soldier, then deletevehicle the west soldier.

1. - Gruop a civilian to a EAST (or West) unit and name teh EAST (or West) unit.
2. - In the civilians or East's Init Field type this -
east1 deletevehicle
east1 is the name of the East unit ;D
there mioght be something else to type at the end of the Init feild syntax ;d

or in the EAST units init line type
deletevehicle this
doing this instead of
Quote
east1 deletevehicle
east1 is the name of the East unit
means that you dont have to name the unit at all making things a bit simpler

Yes, yes...I guess it's the easiest going with the whole east-unit-deletevehicle scam. But, if you're an old-skool OFP'er like myself, you can check out this:

yeah i tend to open up the SQM and edit the sides if needed i think it is a better way than the whole deletevehicle thingy.

We're just lazy....
takes at least 6 steps to do it the "old fashioned" way
1)Alt+Tab out of game
2)open folders till you get to your mission
3)Open .sqm
4)Search for relevant part
5)close/save .sqm
6)Atl+Tab back in
Alternative:
1)create officer
2)group him
3) deletevehicle this

or use the destory WP placed on each civi.
no matter what the east will kill anyone the destory wp i splaced on.
but be warned that if you are in that east goin to kill the civi's your ai team mates will open fire on you after liek 2..
weird how ai cna kill kill and kill but you do it and they fire on you
