Changing Unit's Affiliation/Weapon?

Before I ask my questions, I apologize if these have already been answered, but I searched and found nothing.  Now on to the questions:

1) I have found several nice unit mods made by other people that use rather poor weapons.  I have also found rather nice weapon models that would be good to use with these units.  I know the basic AddWeapon code, but how can I find out the code for the custom weapon?  And the code for the ammunition it requires?

2) I have never made a model in my life.  I know nothing about the coding to make them work in Op:Flash.  However, I found a very nice West unit that I would like to use on the Resistance side for my missions, for the flexibility.  How can I accomplish this?

I had more, but I've forgotten them.  Oh well, I'll put em up later if I remember.  Any help would be greatly appreciated with the above dilemmas.  Thanks.

Get a hold of the addon maker and ask him (or her) the name of the weapon addon...( or maybe you can "un-pbo" the file to find the name)

As for question #2....

I will give you a "for instance"
I wanted civillians to be shot at and shoot back.

All I did was open up the "mission.sqm" and change my civillians
from "CIV" to "EAST".

Maybe it works for "WEST" to "RESISTANCE"

 ???

1)  I think LCD answered this a couple of weeks ago.   Search the forum on his name and "hint"

2)  cornholio's solution works, but there is an easier way.   Create your west unit.   Group him under a Resistance group leader.   In the resy loon's init field write deleteVehicle this.

just make triger w/ on activision like dat

hint format ["%1",weapons unitname]

it will give u array of weapons it have
