Ambitious ww2 weapons pack

Hey guys

In conjunction with several wee mods and some of u crazy talented guys out there (especially the naked ones)
Ive decided from u gits that ignored my amazing upminder post to post again but this time with a difference!

Yes thats right the um focus of the pack is different

the 'WW2 UNIVERSAL WEAPONS PACK'

(and incidentally if u havent already download my Universal Armor Code especially the new one that goes up in flashpoint cz soon cos its got a cool calculater prog in it)


annnyway. Right the upminder pack is edited, and theres more stuff, and yeah i know some editors might be annoyed but the point is this, this pack as far i know will be used for ww2 vets and aia units, and prob some more but thats not the point, for all u guys that wanna make soldiers but arent in a mod or dont want to be in one, or for little mods who'll end up spending a week with another mp40 screenshot to show (and u didnt even want to make one) then this pack is for u.

FEATURES

1) Functional Black Optics historically researched but (readily edited if misatakes reported) for all the weapons included.)

2) Edited ai commands to make enemy soldiers a bit more human and interesting to fight (for example smg guys letting up at short range)

3) New sounds/improved sounds

4) Easy coding, for all u old upminder fans dont worry u wont need to recode a thing, and credits to him still included and his readmes.

5) Addition of the following weapons...

6) Use of moah textures/colour palletes to ensure similar style, new textures kept to pallete.

ST44 (With Vampir night sights hehe scary)

MG 08 (Big ol HMG from ww1 but very common)

Right now these weapons are mostly ingame and done, but

What i would like from u boys out there is to submit me a model or make a Walther PP and a Walther P38. Then that will surely be enuf for the germans lol. If not then they will get made and added humbug.

The rest of the weapons are of course the upminder conversions, PLEASE if u have a ww2 weapon model, and u want it in the pack, let me know, i want this to be a represenative effort from the community to save us a lot of time and to have a powerful foundation to give ww2 fans a weapon pack to inspire them to create more infantry etc, and to give new and small mods an unashamed start in case their put off by having to make weapons.

If you have a weapon model for ww2 let me know. This project can be expanded later to include more types such as Soviet, Italian etc. Im open to any ideas, especially welcome are optic submissions too, for pics of our weapons development check out the models on flashpoint cz or the old upminder new pack thread!

Hey johno, chill im civil. And im back from the grave. Yes, I have returned to OFP for some unkown reason (probably the ADF mod - mmm, Australians), and back here at the OFPEC forums.

For the Germans you left out the Walter Pistole 38 (woops, no you didnt!), which was more common for junior officers and senior noncoms than the Luger was. The ST44 was the StG44 (just helping spelling mistakes, not patronizing ), which stood for Sturmgewehr 44. Some people call it the Mp44, which was incorrect - the earlier protoypes were named Mp44 & Mp43. The model which made it into the hands of the Landsers and Grenadiers was the StG.

And also, the Tawain project guys already made a Colt 1911, it has a mooving slide!

With all this hubub in the WW2 OFP community, it is hard to keep up with all these addons coming from all these people. By the end of the day, you should all be PAYING ME for all the work I have done to play WW2 OFP.

BTW, wont EA get pissed off if you use their textures. Corporate pigs, why do they not understand the small people like us. We work our butts off to make OFP WW2, then they want to take it away :'(

Hey Frosty u should add me to ur msn, u always seem interested, if u like u can betatest too, in any case yeah well upminder isnt in jail yet, and we intend to give credits and then as time goes on replace models in the pack.
