Why won't they work?
« on: 03 Mar 2003, 03:34:39 »
My scripts seem to not want to work. Whenever one is supposed to be called, it says something like:
"File script.sqs. not found". What gives? I select all file extensions, save it as an .sqs file, call it like [] exec
"script.sqs". There's go to be either something really cheesy going on that I'm forgetting about, or something
is really messed up.

Seems correct. It's some little thing, maybe a typ0 somewhere.

Check that you have your script in your mission folder and that it absolutely has no other extensions. Also check the script name and the name you're calling from the editor. After those are ok, it should.. no wait.. it WILL work  ;)
Not all is lost.

If you are writing scripts in Notepad, remember to first select "all files" and then type the name of your script with the .sqs extension.

I suggest you d/l Chris's Ofp script editor that can be found
in the editors depot - tools section, if you havent done that
already. It's an excellent tool for script writers!
