Format(ing) method for 'titletext'

I know how to use 'format' command but i found some dificulties on using it with matrices, like those we use on 'cuttext' or 'titletext'. How to?

ex.: titletext format[["%1",Plain,0.5],varname] (does it work?) ???

I'll apreciate your help! :D

I found the answer with the search engine. How could i be so dum...  :-[

TitleText [Format ["%1", _var], "Plain"]
