wss sound converter
« on: 07 Dec 2002, 16:05:50 »
I've just downloaded a utility from someone called RavenDK that converts WSS to WAV.  Does anyone know how this thing works?

I've installed and ran it, It tells me to choose the .wss file, and then it does nothing.

try this:
go to my page, scroll to the bottom and get the files
http://home.knuut.de/macrodx/ofp
follow the readme in the zip of my utility and all should work fine...

Thank you soooooo much.  The utilities I'm currently using take forever.  I'm going to check out your other downloads, too.  I like the way your MG42 (w/the brown stock) looks more than DKM's MG3.

Wait a minute, where are all the decoded files sent to?  It seems to work, but where are the files?

the target files are in the same folder as the source files. :)

No they aren't.

I followed the instructions, and the program seemed to work (the status bar showed that *something* was being decoded), but the new .wav files were nowhere to be found.

This must be a Windows thing.  If I do everything on my A drive, it works.

My mistake, the program works, I just have to adjust the way I use it.

Thank you very much.
