Please could someone tell me about arrays etc..
if i type [ s1, s2, s3, ] join Alpha or something like i always get an error message about expecting a group. What am I doing wrong? I don't know much about these things and would be greatful if someone could explain in simple to a dumb-ass.

Make sure Alpha is the NAME of a guy who is of higher rank, or the name of a group. If it isn't, type
alpha = group this
In alpha's init field. Also, loose the spaces in your array, so its [s1,s2,s3,s4] join alpha
Make sure the units in your array ARE the names of units, and not of groups.
