I need a Band Aid!

I noticed when a soldier in OFP is wounded, and gets "Healed" the Textures simply return to normal, and there is no longer any evidence of a wound, well what if instead of returning to normal, the Textures had Bandages there instead, just an Idea for Realism

That's not a bad idea - but, it'd look wierd if you got shot, and all of a sudden the texture changed and from somewhere you magically get a band aid. Then the medic would heal you, and the band aid would disappear - seemingly appearing that the Medic just removed the wounded soldier of the band aid. ::)

;DIs the other way round mate, you get injured, call for medical asistance, get sorted by the med and then the bands apear on you and stay for the rest of the game, just like in reall life, get the bands after you heal, thats what PukerSXDX meant ;D
Good idea thouth, I would download it and install it if someone make it.
Later.

I don't think that's possible to make, I know the patch 1.75 brings some features regarding replacing textures but I still don't think that's possible, but I may be wrong  :-\
What is possible, is to have an wounded soldier like Bimbi as done once, and than when he gets hit the textures turn to blood and when healed they turn to bands as it was in the beggining.  :P

@cero I know what he meant. I'm simply saying that that would be the only option unless of course the soldier did actually begin with a band aid texture on him - in which case he would have band aids, get shot and show blood, get healed and then the bandaids would return, as the Skavester said. ;)

Well the thing I would loock forwood to would be if the unit starts the game without banding at all, just get the banding after you had been healed by the med, but that means 3 different textures for that and if Skaven recons is not posible I must agree, hi knows alot more about that stuff than me, and that's a fact ;D
 Later all.

Yeah, I guess, I maybe one day, I know the SEB NamPack has a wounded Soldier in it but I don't think that'll do the trick. Oh well

It is a good idea but I don't think it is possible. Maybe with a script and setobjecttexture command...
