Author Topic: how do i get rid of '.eden' on the end of my mission name  (Read 853 times)

Hi, i made a mission ;D but in the single mission menu it shows the name with .eden on the end (something to do with what island its set on?) how do i get rid of this? my mission is just a folder not a pbo, does that have something to do with it?

Hi. Well you can change it in the editor. Click in the window where you can select the weather, the time, etc (on the right corner) and then put in the Overvew field the name you want to show in the menu.

Yes very good, excellent, fantastic.......soz.

It's also very good to put the name of your mission where SeAnVeR said, cause if you make a breifing for your mission, it doesn't say _cur_sp at the top, it says "Mission title" up there.

In regards to your folder thing, did you save the mission from the mission editor?

someone help the man!
if it's showing up in the menu like that u just need to change the name like seanver said, but if it's a folder, what are goin on about?
to make it a pbo, save it but instead of having it as a user mission change it to export to sp mission.

Thanks for the help, SeAnVeR's method works fine, im not really bothered about making my missions PBOs unless i decide to release them, thanks for the help
