Picking up the nearest weapon

i hav a question for you great people, i have a POW (called man) on my mission hes in the back of a Ural i was wondering what the script is to make him pick up the nearest AK47 once he completes his get out WP

ive tried;

man action ["takeweapon","AK47"]

plz help
