Damaged addon, how to edit?

Hi

I downloaded an add-on, and it appears to be damaged.
It's a tank ( merkava) and it's a resistance unit.
From some reason the tank won't fire back when it is attacked or when near enemy soldiers.
I want to edit the add-on so it will be a west unit, maybe that will fix the problem

Bugger, I can't open the BIN file (convert to CPP) ..... likely needs a look at

some addons have faults!

I even tried to get a look at it and I kept getting errors trying to DePBO the tank

I don't know what you people are doing wrong, I managed to depbo the pbo AND convert the config.bin to config.cpp without a problem.

I used Eliteness.
