Resistance Ammo Crates Problem

Maybe i'm just dumb - but i can't figure out how to solve the ammo crates problem where if you take a weapon out, the weapon you were holding and all its ammo is put by the side of the crate instead of going in.

It causes a lot of lag on a gaming server as the weapons build up outside the crates.
Any ideas how to solve this?

Yeap... don't jam your crates so full of crap ;D

Ammo crates have a capacity of 1000 weapons and 2000 magazine (I think those figures are correct)

Remove a enough weapons/magazines to be under those limits and you won't end up with excess guns everywhere
