Maya to 3DS MAX...
« on: 20 Oct 2005, 18:22:56 »
I give in. I am new to addon making and have used Maya to create my design. Now I realise I have 3DS MAX 8  ;D I want to convert my Maya file... So , I have the .ma or .mb file to convert. I have sat down and taken a look at the situation but havn't gotten anywhere.

So ones' simple request is for some helpful and friendly information...
I need to get my Maya file into .3ds - or by some other way, into 3DS MAX.

All help appreciated.

And what exactly does this have to do with OFP modelling... ::)

OFPEC is about OFP editing, not tech Qs about software you can possibly use to model a model you can then import into a tool used in OFP modelling...

Quite a long de-tour, isn't it.. :)

In cases like these I think Autodesk forums (or something like that) and Google are your friends.. ;)

EDIT:
Well, after thinking about this, my keychain was maybe a bit too hastily used :P ::)

So, un-locking but please do not stray any more off-topic :)

The propeller is just a big fan in front of the plane used to keep the pilot cool. When it stops, you can actually watch the pilot start sweating.
