End a switchmove animation

Hey Blanco

You remeber a while back you helped me to keep a loon on its knees with its hand behind its back?
unitname switchmove "FXexecution"
unitname palymove "FXexecutiondead"

Well Ive decided I want the loon to eventually remove itself from that position and return to
standard position "no animations" but iv tried like switchmove "FXStandAtt" but he instantly moves to standing and playmove wont work.
Basically I wanna do a slowmow shot of the hostage putting his hands down standing up and then charging the executer in a fit of rage before the executer shoots him

Any suggestions


Oh ya I forgot to add, I tried this to
unit switchmove "FXexecution"
unit playmove "FXexecutiondead"
~245  (how long he needs to stay before charging the executer
exit



But that did not return the loon to no animation state

It works Blanco but it's not a fluid animation, the loon kinda just jumps up and his hands are automatically at his side, I can make it work I guess if theres no other way

Yeah, I know... You have to find an animation to make it as fluid as possible.

What about "combattostand"?
That will make him stand up from a crouched position.

*edit*

Wrong, doesn't look good...

try something like:

Is there a chance of changing the thread's title into
somewhat where ppl know what it's about?

Hmmm, yes.

Anybody could have answered this question so there is no real harm in it being public.    However, cirkut5732, if you really did just want to talk to Blanco then an IM would have been more appropriate.

Moderators don't edit post titles and at present there are no plans for them to do so.    However Chris Death is absolutely right, titles should be helpful and summarise the question so that everybody knows what the thread is about.

Didnt think it would be a problem, but your right I shoulda just IM'd blanco, But he he helps me so much I dont want him to think Im stalking him HA HA!!!!
