Shockwave and flying dead guys

Have you ever seen a bomb go off?

You know that shockwave that spreads away from the blast, is it possible to create that?

Also is it possible to make an anim for people who are hit by shells etc which would make them fly back in a more real way than the standard BIS cardboard soldier?

there is a shockwave script in the scripting beta section, its a little ways back.

#2 i dont think is possible w/ out new anims

you could always play around with different anim to see if any actually look good, like some of the running deaths, where the guy flies forward after getting shot, he'll end up in the "cardboard" state, but the explosion its self should look good, if any of the anims are worth sh*t for this

another animation idea, when a car runs over a bomb, people sometimes get thrown out,

ive always wanted to see a rolling animation

also someone rolling while falling form being shot, or someone falling backwards and having their legs folded, I know animations are crappy to make but think of the payoff.

In ECP your satchel bombs, when they go off create a brown shackwave of dust that looks pretty good. Too bad other explosive devices don't do that too. :P

As for flying bodies, I think we need rag doll physics. ;D :P

People could roll in pain, some don't die straight off as nice as it would be to just have it go black. :PSome animations are a bit weird though...

Like try running backwards and being shot, looks like you hit some ice and fell headfirst. :P

like if a nade lands near an AI he will try to dive out of the way

you could just use one of the running death anims follow by a pronetocrouch anim or something like that.

You know, bodies do fly when you hit them with a Vulcan or Shilka gun. ;D

de pbo the script.pbo file in ecp and try and find the script wich creates it and then ask if you can use it then use it in your missions one thing not sure if it is in the script.pbo file just have a look around
