radio play writing

i have made a description.ext file with a stingtable.csv
but when the radio dample playes the text doesnt i have used STRM_clear
and in the description it is $STRM_clear.
there is no erroe messages the sound itself plays fine.

i have used the same template i did with another mission wich worked fine and i called the sound like this
off sideradio "clear"

i dont want to use the sidetext line aswell so if nyone knows why this is

Rally no idea how to handle a Stringtable.sqs, but mayube u can chec if the sound is in the correct foulder, or if it works...
or  if it is not a sound, you are using a bad command.. :p sorry I dont understand english very well...

U maybe try Changing "Sideradio" whit "sidechat" instead

hi ... think i got the fault.

stringtable references used in the description.ext have to end with "D":

STRD_yourtext for the Description.ext
STRM_yourtext for use in missioneditor
STR_yourtext for use in your scripts

oh wait yeah sorry but i managed to solve this a while back but thatbks anyway and i forgot to click the solve button
