A.I walking through objects problem! Please help.

I have an addon that allows you to build bunkers on the map, it works kind of like the Editor Update, but also has a few of the same problems. I need to stop A.I units from walking through the walls of the building. When I create certain waypoints, the A.I sometimes just walks through the walls. Needless to say it's very annoying and causing me some editing problems. Does anyone know if there's any way to stop this happening? I would really appreciate any help as it is a vital part of the mission. Thanks in advance, Wacky.

not being an addon maker, i cant guarantee the accuracy of this post

however i do believe it has something to do with the lods within the models and if so its the addon that is at fault.

What you could do is hide another object within the walls of the troublesome object, such as a wire fence etc, to prevent the ai from passing through it.

If its an addon it could just be poor addon making.   In which case bin it and use a better addon.

However, there is a perennial problem of AI loons being able to see through and walk through walls.    It's a limitation of the game engine.    Before you complain too much, on the grounds that lots of other games have solved this problem, remember that none of these games allow you to run around an island five miles long.

This is a regular game engine problem, however with certain addons I have noticed it is even worse then default objects.
MANY time I have witness AI walking through buildings for whatever reason, I have also noticed that the buildings that come with OFP resistance seem to have much more inertia.

I'm not sure about this, but I think it's only the leader who's playing ghost.
