TARGETS

How not to view the target outline in yellow.  (AI, in a cutscreen)  ** If that is possible**
If you don't know what i mean.

Listen here.
I have a "mission" in which i am gathering information to create this so called campaign//single mission i am working on.
It has once sniper//  Resistance - Sniper // he is named sniper.  There are 4 Soldiers and 1 Officer.
There names are// s1 - s4, & o1 // and their behaviour is SAFE.
I created the Sniper to shot them all.
**This is for a small cutscreen i am going for.  But this stuff i am doing is helping me get the right stuff*
I have the Sniper target the Officer, then the 4th soldier in line.  Likes he is counting all the men comes towardshim but in a diagnal line so he can see all the men going over the hill.
He skips to the last one and waits.  Makes sure there isn't anyone else coming.
Targets the last person (s4).
Waits (~1.1) hehe, just a random wait period.
Then shots.
and so on until everyone is dead. . . etc.

^^^ When the Sniper is targetting the soldiers (through the scope) there is a yellow targeting square being viewed around the target (s1 or whomever).  Then a white cursor thingyer. ^^^
That's what i am talking about.
How would i get hid of that if that's possible.

If it isn't possible, i guess i wrote this for nothing... or did i?

Thanks for your time.

Did you try setting the game to veteran mode, instead of cadet ?

Can also check some of the dificults options of the game.

Would that effect the cutscrenes.... ?

It is going to be an intro for a mission i am creating.

It will be viewed by the ai...

but i'll will try that out... but then that would change the ai mode... unless it is in cadat too.

But i don't care, i have played on both modes.

I'll try it sometime tonight or tomorrow.

i assume you're using switchcamera to see through the sniper scope, in which case the waypoint indicator will show for that character if it has waypoints, or belongs to a group which has waypoints - as flaber says, playing in vet mode is a quick fix for this, but not complete. if this is for a cutscene, use empty markers and the

Code: [Select]
unit_name domove getmarkerpos "marker_name"
command to move the sniper instead of waypoints. presto, no more waypoint indicators.

bedges is right about the waypoint indicators, but I have a feeling you might be stuck with the target indicators.   Try making the shooter in a group of his own.    Doubt it will work but you never know.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play
