Getting rid of map objects
« on: 25 Dec 2004, 16:09:49 »
When I Click "Show IDs" on the map editor it shows me the ids of all the objects. I want to get rid of one of them but I forgot the code for it. Thnx in advance.

By the way I already searched the forums ;)

The only way I know of to remove an object from an island is to delete it from the .wrp file in an island editor.

To the best of my knowledge there is no other way.

I think it used to be possible, but BIS disabled it in one of their updates to prevent cheating in MP.

You could always try something like:

deletevehicle (object XXXX)

or

(object XXXX) setpos [0,0,0]

XXX being the object ID

But I think you will find that it won't work.
