binos rsc and text?
« on: 11 Dec 2004, 19:39:27 »
whenever i stick a binocular resource over the screen it is always removed by text or sound. is there a way around this i.e. to have text and the binos resource?

OFP uses two 'channels' for text and resources.

Title, and cut.

If you paw through the comref, you'll see there is:

titletext
titlecut

and:

cuttext
cutrsc.

I suggest using the binocs with cutrsc, and your text/sound with titletext. The only difference between them is that a fade out (cuttext) will blank out anything in the 'cut' channel, but not in the title channel :)

Yeah... it may do.

It will depend on how the sound is defined in your .ext file.

There will be a line in there that specifies: titles
If you clear that line (everything between the {}) then it shouldn't effect written text.

haha, I find it hard to go past a bit of muppet comedy :)
