Getting rating scores for players
« on: 27 Nov 2004, 21:44:46 »
I know the AddRating command, but I am trying to actually 'get' the rating score from players, wether from a direct get command or just thro a ? statement. I need to know when they become renegade (below 0 rating).
Ill keep trying to get a querey that works, I did try to search the forums and resources, nada, not one ratings reference, so this is my last opt.

 Thanks

I think there's a command that actually is named rating. Not sure, but hit it up in your ComRef and see if you find something.

'God' is right, the command rating returns *dramatic drum roll* the units rating... ::) :P

And renegade limit is not just below 0, it's actually -2000...
So, -2000 or lower makes the unit renegade...

Thanks HateR and Dmakatra, ya, I found it about 7 hours ago lol, having some major issues with its usage tho, seems it only works with referring dirctly to 'player', no variables that equal player are working which sucks, but at some point after I regather this mess I made around the rating com I hopefully can get it do whats needed. Good to know about the -2000, was funny cause I couldnt figure out why I had to kill 4 guys to get the renegade goin at rating zero, now I know lol.
Been tryin to get a prox trigger to set off where players that have royally annoyed the kind res in a town are remembered and are reset to renegade, but like I said, easier said than done, thislist woulda been great command to reference a units rating that set off a trigger to find out who went into renegade status in or near a town, but with only 'player' to work with not sure how to do it being its MP mission. Sorry to bore u, just found that oh so common spot in mission editing where u just say screw it for now and walk away lol  :-X

 Thanks again
