Removing glasses
« on: 17 Nov 2004, 14:05:57 »
I have two AI units that need to look exactly the same so I have found a face I want them to have and have set the same face for each of them in their init field.

I now find that sometimes one or other will have glasses on!

I realsie I can create an identy for each of them in description.ext that specifies no glasses.  But is there another/simpler way?

Not that I know of. It's desc.ext for you, private! :P

Yeah as far as I know as well, you'd have to go ahead and set an identity for the guys..

I've *heard* that there are problems with the setface command if you save/load a mission, so perhaps it is better to use identities anyway if it is an important character.

Not that important a character.  It will be dark, there will be a fleeting glimpse and the next time the player sees the character close up will be after they have killed him - should they choose to do so nd should they then go and look at him.  So it wll be one in a million players that would spot an error - but I would know, and I want it right.
