I messed around with this a long time ago, and I remember that it was possible, but the result varied - Like the script not always being able to tell when the rocket was above a really low altittude, like 1, or 0.5... So, is there any reliable way method of doing this? Moreover, I need some general help on this subject, cause I remember there were more flaws than that. I basicly just used the standard way of determaining water, like the BAS rotorwash scripts do, and checked the height of the object with getpos _object select 2 > 0.5/whatever

So, any help appriciated.
I am actually flying into a star... this is incredible!

???
Creating an object a bit below the actual shell and checking that objects height... And when that object is under 0 the shell would probably be above water then...
Would probably need the game logic or "emptydetector" to know if it's below 0 though...
???

Just a shot in the dark... :P
