How about a Tanker Zone? This would be a box of airspace (presumably close to the edge of map) in wich a helicopter or aircraft (providing it has a refuelling capability) can refuel in the same manner as a helicopter can refuel while hovering over a gas station. Sure, a big fat tanker would be cool, but getting it to work properly would be hard.  :)

Yeah, thats kinda what I meant.. A big area where you could reful in..
"Maybe make the hose thing home in on the heli/plane.. Might make it a bit easier.. " - IE, you don't need to be in the exact right place

Sorry Im a bit late on this...

To refuel a heli...

The helo extends its boom past the rotor disk area
and the KC-130 (or MC-130 ive heard has refueling capabilities for special missions) extends the drouge line out of the turbulance. The two then mate with each other with the 130 at min speed and the helo at max. speed. The tanker then transfers fuel. I have a hard time seeing this done in OFP, and expecially the regular jets refueling from a tanker, due to poor flight models.

I also know that Janes' F-15 has in-flight refueling, and it is hard, too.
