custom birds

I wonder why nobody have  made some custom birds yet...

I dunno shit about addonmaking but can't you make an other bird (owl, hawk,eagle, a bat) based on the seagul and can they use  the animations too?

Couldn't you just change the textures and model the same way the new NVG's and skymod's do?

I reskinned a seagull to look like a crow, but the game crashed when I tried to make a new "seagull". However, I'm not sure if I tried replacing the default "seagull" in the main config...

I agree with Homefry - I'm sure if you configged it properly, you could replace the default seagull with a new bird (new models and textures).

Personally, I'd like a nice looking Raven, Condor or Vulture, to peck at dead soldiers.

Surely the seagull cpp is in the the sommented config, or in one of the game PBOs?
Whats the P3D name of the seagul..?

i think the seagull is hardcoded into the exe,it model name is racek2, ill provide a mlod segull model
