ECP questions

First off i will start with ECP is so great, it has rebreathed new life into a game i had not played in over a year But...and there is always a but, i have a few questions.

I had dl a ver 1.042 beta of ECP and the DR plugin and it worked great, and I really love the sound that is played when a tank or apc fire and you can hear the shell whistle as it gets closer and then finaly exploding. So i figure this is great ill go get the newest ECP, so i use the installers and come to find out that, the sound isnt in there anymore. So i try to find it again. I dl the Satchel dynamicrange_res190_full and put it in, play it for a while but i really like the blood drops and the other additions that ECP brings and also that the sound isnt in there either. But i notice another thing, the sounds in the new DR plugin for ECP sound nothing like those in the DR pack i got. Which brings me to my 2 questions.

Is there anyway i can put that sound in myself? and also is the DR plugin for ECP the same as the satchel DR pack i got?

Hello,

first you must download and install the latest ECP Core:

http://www.ofpec.com/editors/ecfg/current/ECP_Beta_1_071_Installer.exe

(rename your actual "@ECP" Mod folder to prevent overwriting)

then download the actual DR Files:
 http://www.ofpec.com/editors/ecfg/current/DynamicRange.zip
 http://www.ofpec.com/editors/ecfg/current/ECP_DR_extra_1.zip
 http://www.ofpec.com/editors/ecfg/current/ECP_DR_extra_2.zip
 http://www.ofpec.com/editors/ecfg/current/ECP_DR_extra_3.zip
(I am not 100% sure if they have been changed in the new version, therefore if you have a thin line and some time, copy it from the old version and give it a try).
Copy all the addon .pbos to @ECP\addons

Then you must download the new Config for DR
 http://www.ofpec.com/editors/ecfg/current/config_DR_013.zip
Copy it into @ECP\bin (overwriting the not DR ECP config).

Then it should work.

ug sorry i got a bit disracted, thnx for ur quick reply kuro and i did what you had listed and the whistle sound is back!!!   I had some other probs with ECP/OFP but it turns out i had a faulty mem stick... it was disguising itself as a hardware conflict  :-\ but now all is good, it runs smooth except on a few addon missions but thats to be expected since they have alot of stuff. Since this is the feedback forum i thought i would send ya some.

Overall ECP makes OFP 20002x better, the blood trails are so great.(many a time ive had to hunt down the comp players by using the blood trail) And i also laugh my head off when the tank crews jump out a tank with thier heads on fire LOL. Its an all around excellent package and i give u all kudos. I know how hard it is to find the time to do all these things, and to go through it all and come out with a excellent product, well then thats the reward. So my only question for you again is: Is the m16/m60 firing sound going to be replaced? It seems to skip alot when in a large firefight with many weapons firing, and it just doesnt sound right.. well to me but then i may be a bit biased since ive fired both weapons :p K thats it, my only neg thing about ECP and its great additional items it brings to OFP.
