Capturing a pilot script
« on: 12 Apr 2003, 01:32:42 »
I have an idea, but I have no clue how to script...

  • When a pilot ejects the nearest enemy squad should go after him.
  • They won't fire on him, unless he fires on them within a close range. (If he fires from far off, they try to find cover but still pursue him.)
  • He won't fire on them unless they're a small group (say about 2 people), or he's far enough away.
  • When they're within a certain range, he drops his weapon and goes into the "hands behind your head" pose.
  • Once he's captured, the enemy calls in a truck. Truck picks them up and drives back to base.
  • If the enemy gets attacked by friendly (your) troops, they fire back at you, but the officer takes out the prisoner (only the officer).

Is anyone willing to do this? I wouldn't mind getting my hand on this script.

That sounds much more like a well detailed mission rather than a single script  ::). You should do some searching throughout the forums for a combination of what you need..I'll do some looking myself, cuz I'd like to dip my hands in on that mission as well  :D

I have found a script from Cold war crisis campaing. :) It is almost like that what is requested. To open a campaing into editable missions you need the "unPBO" :(.

P.S. sorry for my bad english :'(
Do I need to play Operation Flashpoint to be here?
