SIMPLE SCRIPTING

i would like to know how to make a fire light itself or how to make a unit do somthing speacal like plant a bomb or mine or make them lite a flare and how oh how do i put a pilot in a chopper but not a piolt. it would be very helpful if anyone could tell me how to make a radio message come eg. intel reports have amor comeing your way! and stuff like that
