Ok, after alot of prodding to do so, I am releasing what was supposed to be a "squad based" island.  I basically tried to make an island that would have all the features of alot of the islands out there, but easy on low end puters.  It has Snowy mountains, grasslands, desert, a swamp, 2 runways, (of course one of them works for AI!!!) a harbor, a lake, a smaller island, miles upon miles of an integrated road system, bases, power plant, etc etc etc.  I know the names of the places may seem odd, but like I said, "squad based", everyone got their own little chunk, made the way they preferred.  I tried to have mission makers in mind when i started this project, and I feel that with only a 2MB file size, I gave a ton of variety.  There is a complete list of addons that accompany the file, along with mission maker notes and the like.  Please feel free to d-load it at either our site

Hope to hear some feedback, its my first try at a thing like this, so any criticism is welcome.

Great Island Monoloth!  :D Im thinking about making some mpmissions on the island both coop and other types of missions ;D
Only thing i noticed was that the caves in the desert should be aligned with a mountain or maybe put them cave + cave so that you get a big cave, the way it looks now you can see that one end of the cave looks ok but the other end looks well like its not supposed to be a entrance really, next time i see you on icq i can show you a pic so that you can see what i mean  ;)

Like the way cities and the power plant area has been done, i can see that you put down lots of effort into this, some people may not want to download around 8 addons to get it working but that wasn't any problems for me because i had 50% of the addons needed already and downloading ís easy with DSL connection  :), only thing i wish right now is some more spare time and i would be rich  ;D, lol im waiting for my 80 gig harddrive to be repaired so i can start mission making again, im crazy in custom music in my mpmissions that i make.  ::)

Thanks Commando, great to hear some feedback.  As for the addons, I d-loaded them all using 56k, then had to upload them all to our site, again, using 56k.............so I feel the pain of fellow "narrow-band" users out there, lol.  However, we are currently putting all the addons together in an addonpack for the island, and we will host this pack at our Disciples site.  I never really thought about the caves, but you are correct, seems I was lacking on that end of the island, lol!
