an axis problem

Hi all, I think this should be post here...

I have a problem with a turret ingame. The axis on which the turret rests is beeing twisted and messed up if the turret turns around.

and when the turret turns it' s like this


could anyone tell me what I did wrong?

Ermm is the barrel part of the gun modelled to the mount. If so, try modelling them separately and just moving them together so they have the illusion of being joined.

The problem is the vertexes included in otocVez

Make your base / middle bit and barrel in 3 seperate sections

The middle bit just needs to be a cylinder - place the bottom of it inside the base and the top inside the gun barrel/breec

Then simply include barrel and cylinder in OtocVez and it will turn OK

atm you seem to have the cylinder actually meeting vertexes in the base which dont move when the rest rotates.
