A decent "text to speach" engine!

My voice suonds like a fart from a cows a.. when I record it whith Gold Wave, so I need to use a speach engine if I whant to load sound into my missions! Does any of you guys outthere know about or have a well funktion speach engine. The one I allready got from downloads.com sounds to mutch like a robot

try searching sound byte site etc... kazaa is also good... you'd be suprised how many decent sound bytes there are for speech that would fit into you're missions... i've got some classics

Any speech generator is going to sound like a robot. However, some are better than others. This is the best I've heard:

Still, I'd STRONGLY  suggest that you use real voices. Even if you can't act, it's going to sound more realistic than a computer generated voice. If voice acting is hard for you, and you can't get any friends to help, try changing your voice a little. Try using a fake British accent (If you're British, try a fake American accent ). Project your voice--speak from deep down in your diaphram. And don't hold the mike in front of your mouth--hold it off to the side so you don't blow into it.

lol, some time i go I made some Russian voices by reverting English ones...

It's silly for real Russians , I know... :-\

Its absolutly free to try as long as its below 30 words. But U can only try 40 times pr. day...lol. Below 10 words can be used whith no limit all day long...lol...
