Hello, I am back, got off flashpoint and am into C&C generals.  I wanted to know how you get 2 cobras and an chinook to "always" fly in a perfect formation for a cutscene

You can???? Thats great!

Sorry to say, but the bloody things won't travel in perfect formation "always". Just for the books, they don't usually travel in it most of the time. :(

if you wanted to make a script that made them move back together if they got too far away, you could do that thought.

try something like this:
Code: [Select]
#DistanceHelo
? heloOne distance heloTwo > 30
heloTwo doMove (getPos heloOne select 0+15,getPos heloOne select 1, getPos heloOne select 2).
Goto DistanceHelo

That should work. Nonetheless, its not perfect, and it still wont make the helicopters fly in perfect formation.
 :'(
Good luck, and happy editing!
Cheers, Tyger :)

Put each chopper into a seperate group with seperate waypoints.     Or use triggers and GLs rather than waypoints.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play
