HELP...PBR w/ sebnam marines as driver?

I put 2 soldiers(SEBNAM2 MARINES) then put in their init.  "marinename moveindriver" and so on for the gunner. All was well, they were in the boat but when i told them to move they just sat there... why? Its kind of an important part of Nam river operations to have a PBR. Input on why this happen and anyways to fix it w/o scriptingn would be much appreciated.

R u ignorin me too? Well thats just great isn't it, i come on this site hopin for simple answers and all i get is people ignorin me, well im just gonna have to cry in a corner untill i finally die

Well weweresoldiers, I can't help you too much there.

Is there something else you put on the soldiers? Some script or something?
If there is more to it, by all means, tell.

Maybe someone with a higher magnitude can assist.

Another thought is telling them to move through a script. But that's all I have.

True, PBRs were invaluable in Vietnam ;).

Try using the domove command and a game logic.  (since I don't have time right now, have a look at the editors depot and command reference for info on domove and game logics)

Yeah not much to it. It sounds really easy and all. I've got it to work with a NAM pilot in a cessna like he was a Forward Air controller, so i assumed that it would work with a boat :afro:. Oh well. Thanks for the help anyway. I'm trying to make a Vietnam Navy Seal, Marine and Gunship campaign :gunman:. I'm pretty amature when it come to missions. I dont script much because it confuses the hell out of me and I'm trying to add music andstuff like that and the PBR would be a big part of the campaign of the Navy Seals. I guess I'll use the LSSC for now :'(

Perhaps more detail about what you are doing, like how and when do you create the units, how do you try move the boat e.t.c

Even better would be to attach a simple mission to demonstrate the problem.

When it comes to OFP scripting, the Devil really is in the detail :)

I will postthe mission if i can figure it out. But basically its i put an empty PBR (boat1) with 2 guys(player1 and player2) that in their init it says "player1 moveindriver boat1" and "player2 moveingunner boat2" then on the leader of the 2 guys i put a waypoint that was just to move to another spot. I know! sounds really easy but it wont work. Im not really into scripting so i'm trying not to do it that way. but that is it i will post the mission if i can.
