Anyone remember the OFP demo BMP?

Anyone remember the BMP-1 tank from the official demo?

As far as I can remember, it had a missile proxy on the turret which actually disappeared when firing! What is interesting about this is the fact that the final OFP does not support animated proxies, but this rocket proxy was moving nicely with the turret! So has this feature been removed? If so, why? It was working fine I think. Or maybe its still in the engine, but nobody has discovered it yet?

oh, and Col. Kink has invented a nice way to do fake animated proxies, but it is very limited, unfortunately. It'd be nice if this old engine capability could be used somehow without "dirty tricks" ;)
